Honoured is a movement which seeks to empower, bless and connect single Christians to lead the life God is calling them to. We run events, publish a blog and independently review resources
that you might
find useful.
Being single is no plan b.
It's no consolation prize,
it's not holding you back.
Get ready for all the
amazing thing's
God's going to do
with you and through you
at this time.

hang out
We have a mission... to host relaxed, enjoyable events where we can have a fun time, meet other single Christians from the area and enjoy some great venues we might not have explored before. We set age limits so that everyone feels comfortable and our team members host every event so that everyone feels welcome straight away. Check out what's coming up near you and come and hang out with us...
If home is where the heart is then our heart is definitely in Nottingham. This is where it all began and we have too much love for this city and the way God is moving here. The team is pretty large but is headed up by Char and Lora - who also write most of the blogs. Our philosophy is - if it's an event we want to go to - then it's probably an event you'll want to come to!

Our next event in Nottingham will be coming soon. Watch this space for details

We launched Honoured in London Summer 2018 due to overwhelming requests for events and the single people of the South East have voted with their feet - packing out every event we've run so far. Our team represents lots of different churches and organisations across London. We try to run our events centrally so they are accessible for people travelling from around London. Why not come and join us at our next event.

Our Manchester team is headed up by two legends- Abigail and Petrona - who endeavor to organise the most fun, most welcoming, most entertaining events. We seek out some great venues and make sure that you have the best time.

We love festivals! But sometimes it can be hard to find fellow singles in a sea of couples! Here's where you'll find the festivals we'll be attending next summer...

All our team members are just ace single people who wanted to get involved in Honoured's mission. If there's not an event in your area or for your age group it's most likely that we do not have hosts yet to run those events - maybe it could be you? If you'd be interested in hosting or joining our team then give us a shout...

The month for happy couples

The month of ‘new year, new me’,

of diets and resolutions,

and most of all,

the month that everyone I know seems to get engaged.

Last January, a total of seven engagements came up on my Facebook news feed in one week! Fourteen happy pe...

January is here; a new year, a new start, and for many people it’s a time to brace oneself and step into the weird and terrifying world of internet dating. Whether you’ve had much experience of dating or you are just deciding that this is the year to begin that journey...

November 28, 2017

Well I started writing this blog after a dating rejection and before I’d even edited it I was faced with another one.

Not a great few weeks romance wise!

And even if you are a fairly confident person and you know your identity in Christ it can still be hard to deal with...

Heather Rogers from iamprojectuk shares some seasonal inspiration with us...

Bonfire night is one of my favorite nights of the year. It's the simple pleasures: I love the chilly night air, getting dressed up so snugly and standing in a field with the people that y...

I am a single woman.

I’m over 30.

I’m committed to following Jesus and I’d like to not be single for the rest of my life (please Lord)

There’s things I love about being single and there’s things I hate about it.

I’m committed to my medium sized church where I feel like God...

Growth often comes out of a time of adversity, so they say. Today was the first day I was back on my feet after three days in bed with the flu… not a fun experience at the best of times but combined with being ultra-single at the moment, as well as living on my own and...

“You live in Kenya?”

“And you’re 24?”

“So you don’t want to get married then?”

This is a conversation I seem to have a lot at the moment. Maybe I missed the memo that said missionaries have been kicked off of the ‘eligible singles’ list. Sure, I spen...

Dear Married Friends,

Firstly, I love you guys.

Thanks for letting me crash your date night and pretending so convincingly that you don’t mind.

Thanks for letting me sit in the front of the car while one of you sits in the back – I like to be in control of the music.

August 27, 2017

Part of me died inside as I reluctantly renewed my internet dating subscription for the third time in six month after vowing to myself never again. Within 48 hours I remembered why internet dating is not for me.

Firstly my life looks rather complicated from the outside...

August 26, 2017

Have you seen the film ‘How to be single’? Good looking people moaning about not being married whilst living in New York loft apartments, enjoying partying and sleeping around and continually bumping into potential love interests and ex boyfriends in a city of over eig...
