Honoured is a movement which seeks to empower, bless and connect single Christians to lead the life God is calling them to. We run events, publish a blog and independently review resources
that you might
find useful.
Being single is no plan b.
It's no consolation prize,
it's not holding you back.
Get ready for all the
amazing thing's
God's going to do
with you and through you
at this time.

hang out
We have a mission... to host relaxed, enjoyable events where we can have a fun time, meet other single Christians from the area and enjoy some great venues we might not have explored before. We set age limits so that everyone feels comfortable and our team members host every event so that everyone feels welcome straight away. Check out what's coming up near you and come and hang out with us...
If home is where the heart is then our heart is definitely in Nottingham. This is where it all began and we have too much love for this city and the way God is moving here. The team is pretty large but is headed up by Char and Lora - who also write most of the blogs. Our philosophy is - if it's an event we want to go to - then it's probably an event you'll want to come to!

Our next event in Nottingham will be coming soon. Watch this space for details

We launched Honoured in London Summer 2018 due to overwhelming requests for events and the single people of the South East have voted with their feet - packing out every event we've run so far. Our team represents lots of different churches and organisations across London. We try to run our events centrally so they are accessible for people travelling from around London. Why not come and join us at our next event.

Our Manchester team is headed up by two legends- Abigail and Petrona - who endeavor to organise the most fun, most welcoming, most entertaining events. We seek out some great venues and make sure that you have the best time.

We love festivals! But sometimes it can be hard to find fellow singles in a sea of couples! Here's where you'll find the festivals we'll be attending next summer...

All our team members are just ace single people who wanted to get involved in Honoured's mission. If there's not an event in your area or for your age group it's most likely that we do not have hosts yet to run those events - maybe it could be you? If you'd be interested in hosting or joining our team then give us a shout...

As part of the Honoured team, I've tried many different dating sites in the name of Honoured in order to review it for you lovely lot.

But my joining of Tinder came from slightly different circumstances.

Out with my friends at the pub, I joined Tinder so my friends and...

It's probably not something you've heard preached on in church.

I remember when I first became single and a Christian friend of mine suggested I should buy a vibrator. I was stunned into shocked silence to say the least.

But why is it not something that we t...

Tough title, I know right?

Unfortunately the church is not free from the harsh –isms of this world.

Sexism being the one everyone seems to be VERY aware of these days, racism still ends up being relatively untouched. By both the teaching from the front and the cultural...

I am not an extrovert.

If you've ever met me that would probably suprise you.

I'm pretty outgoing, confident and chatty.

But in all honesty, social situations make me anxious and tired out and just want to hide under a bed and scroll through instagram for a few hours on m...

A new year is upon us.

The gyms are getting busier, the Christmas decorations are going down and Michael Buble’s Christmas album disappears for another 11 months. Social media is littered with posts about weight loss, January sales and people who have already failed the...

New Year. I’m not a big fan.

It’s usually a time when I reflect on the travesty that was the year gone by.

All the ridiculous mistakes I made.

That time I decided to cut in a fringe and it ruined my life.

That money I wasted on that dress I never wore.

Relationships that di...

So far, the Advent season for me has consisted of watching way too many cheesy festive films, consuming copious amount of mince pies and having a 6-week (and counting) cold.

I’ve decorated my Christmas tree, made a wreath for the door and bought all my presents.

I’ve b...

To some people flirting or talking to members of the opposite sex comes naturally - to others, especially introverts, it can seem impossible.

With the Christmas season upon us you'll probably find lots of opportunities to chat to new people and the prospect of flirtin...

As a single woman in my mid-twenties, the number one question my parent’s church friends and relatives will ask at gatherings is:

“Do you have a boyfriend?”

No question on how my career is doing, if I am enjoying life in London or how the marathon went I ran that year.

October 30, 2018

When I was younger, rather than having to endure the painfully awkward experience of “the talk” with me, just like my sister 2 years previous, my parents handed me the book:

“Let’s Talk About Sex”.

It was their way of being able to provide with me information without ha...
